Well, after all these, a few people will lose their credibility. Let’s hope it is not Jorg Schmadtke and Jurgen Klopp.
Why would you think it’s them that would lose credibility?
Why would someone lose their credibility? Its one transfer, it either works out or not
The only folks who risk losing their credibility are Brighton for dealing with Chelsea and Caicedo for flip flopping on LFC.
I thought the quote from Tony Bloom was especially funny.
Fabrizo is clearly being briefed by CFC as he is on their payroll. His tweets have all been the same in last 24 hours with no new information.
But something doesnt add up here…We have bid accepted of £111m…player prefers CFC - or so we are led to beleive and that might be correct. Lets say it is for now…
The bit that baffles me is 1) why are CFC taking so long to prepare a bid - they know how much they need to go to…£112m-£115m will do it.
2) if LFC have been told by the player I only want CFC…Then i think for the money he costs Klopp wouldnt want him and we withdraw - £111m is big money and a lot to spend on someone who wants to be elseswhere (apparently).
CFC must be struggling to make this work with structures and add on etc.
You remember their prized asset Colwill? He will probably be offered as part of the deal even though they forced him to sign 6 year deal last week.
if say CFC do stump up funds id love to know why we kept bid in knowing the player never wanted to come here - we will never know of course. But would love to be a fly on the wall.
Probably weighing up the FFP fine before they make a bid
Maybe we’re waiting for Chelsea to withdraw and for Brighton to say we’re the only option, and then we’ll drag the transfer on until the end of the window and leave Caicedo hanging.
I don’t believe any of the crap you read on social media, but IF he really wants to play for Chelsea over us, he can go fuck himself.
whats the fine £20k and a slap on the wrist?
Exactly. In this era of billionaires and states owning football clubs, fines are meaningless.
The only way to end bad behaviour (whatever it may be) is through significant points deductions (ten points or more) and eventual disqualification.
Miguel Delaney says last night CFC offered players plus cash and Brighton arent interested and they want a better deal than what LFC have offered…which at moment they cannot do.
He also says Moses just wants to play for a top club whoever it is.
So maybe thats why weve kept bid in as his agent is fucking around trying to get the best for him and not his player.
I am dissapointed in Brighton. To keep speaking to CFC after the “auction” had ended is bad darts. Gone down a lot in peoples minds.
Not sure why:
-
There is such animosity to Caicedo. If he’s indeed wanting Chelsea then fair play, how many times have we gushed about players wanting ‘only’ to come to us and raved about their ‘commitment’ but now it’s a bad thing apparently.
-
He’s obviously been talking to Chelsea for a long time. Naturally he’d have been looking at houses, routes, things to do etc etc etc as well as imagining himself playing for Chelsea, looking at Poch’s style of play and picturing how he’d fit it. Exactly what we would do when we’re moving jobs/cities. Now here comes Liverpool and now all of that has gone out the window. Surely he, like any one of us, would go ‘whoa okay, let me have a think’. Instead it’s money, which there probably is a difference Tbf, his agent is a money grabbing cunt, the player is a dick and and and. Faaaaark me.
-
The fuck that shit and pull out crowd. Ffs, why? The lads a cracking player and if we get him he’d be great I’m sure. Also, we want our Club to be competing for signings yet at the first sign of another competing bid or a hitch then, ‘pull out’. Baffling to say the least. No prizes for shrinking fucking daisies in all honesty.
Every time I see CFC I’m thinking KFC
Never stopped them before. Pretty sure they left the FFP violation threshold was back…probabky between Mudryk and Enzo
Can’t think of any players (excepting Colwill) that Chelsea have that Brighton would want. Especially considering the higher wages these players would demand.
- I can’t think of any recent transfers for us where the player accepted personal terms with us and then reneged on them. It’s one thing to make airy fairy statements. It’s another when terms are formally agreed to. For example, Jude said positive things about us but never agreed personal terms.
- So you fantasise about all that, So what! It’s still a fantasy and you as an adult person shouldn’t put any weight on it until the deal is signed. Chelsea never got an agreement with Brighton. We did. He’s a big boy now, you can’t be this emotionally immature.
- You really think his head/mind will be in it now?
they only have a tiny squad at moment and 4 midfielders…not sure who they are offering
The tea lady, that Portuguese doctor who pissed off Mourinho….the Chelsea Pensioners…
but i cant beleive LFC bid for him and hadnt spoke to him and agreed terms.
Its like getting a huge mortgage without knowing how much it will cost you a month.
we mustve had the go ahead from the player to present an offer to Brighton.
if we didnt then thats pretty mad
