Moises Caicedo (DM/CM/RB) Brighton and Hove Albion

I thought we did and he agreed but changed his mind after interference from Chelsea/his dickhead agent/both

Agree with you that if we didn’t then it would be beyond stupid.

Multiple agents each bringing different offers from different clubs to the player. Evidently one of the agent gets a higher commission out of the Chelsea sale and hence there’s more of a push for Caicedo to go there.

but then again jurgen said in conference now its up to the player…so who knows
But i cannot see LFC bidding £111m for a player who wanted to go elsewhere

Multiple agents?! I thought players have just one aren’t who deals with his employer club in his behalf

Anyway , we’ve lost this guy and we’ve probably lost Lavia.

Just need to go get others quickly.

Do you have information we don’t?

Here’s the article Walshy was talking about. I’ve no idea how informed this guy is. All I do know is that the Indy stopped being a serious newspaper years ago.

Speculation.

There’s hundreds of branches of CFC - California Fried Chicken - in Indonesia where I used to go to long ago. That’s what Chelski remind me of.

But for Klopp to speak out so openly when the medical is not done yet is very premature…

People are allowed to be people
1. I can’t think of any recent transfers for us where the player accepted personal terms with us and then reneged on them. It’s one thing to make airy fairy statements. It’s another when terms are formally agreed to. For example, Jude said positive things about us but never agreed personal terms.
 2. So you fantasise about all that, So what! It’s still a fantasy and you as an adult person shouldn’t put any weight on it until the deal is signed. Chelsea never got an agreement with Brighton. We did. He’s a big boy now, you can’t be this emotionally immature.
 3. You really think his head/mind will be in it now?
People are allowed to be people and change their mind or consider their decision in the face of other circumstances especially if they’d already had a lath paid out for them that they were expecting to take. That’s not airy fairy. That’s human nature. If I was almost sure of moving to Joburg and working for x company and this was on the cards for month then for fucking sure I’d be imagining my life up there, planning my up there and how I’d live it with whatever salary I’d be getting. So if y company from Cape Town comes in and makes an offer like fuck am I going to just drop the former plans just like that. It’s not fantasizing, real life planning comes into it. Fuck all about being a big boy or being emotionally immature.

As for his head being in it? Exactly why if he’s allowed to get his head around it the upheaval of the past few days and come to terms with it and make a decision that he feels he can live with, we can expect his head to be in it. At the moment we’re all wanting him to jump at us immediately or else his commitment is in question or he’s just a mercenary. Liverpool are actually the disruptive party here, we’ve come from nowhere and everyone expects Caicedo to say how high when the fans ask him to jump. Having a laugh with that attitude, seriously.

So we’ve made our bid, if he chooses Chelsea then so be it. I see no need to question him, insult him or simply let Chelsea have free run at him either.

This is the highly likely scenario. Tony Bloom will lose all credibility and no one wants to deal with a team that loses control of their own players…

Yeah…also maybe I’m still pissed off about us being made to look like mugs

Yeah he confirmed that we had a bid accepted and rest was up to the player. Nothing foolish about that, just stated what the situation is. If someone took that as some sort of a declaration that we have a new player, then thats just idiotic from them.

Odd situation as almost all the time the buying club will have some indication that the player is amenable to the move and (after permission from current club) personal terms will have been a green before the transfer negotiations begin.

If Caicedo wants to go to Chelsea and Chelsea want us to withdraw our offer then they should offer a sweetner by selling Colwill to us at a reasonable price. We then go and buy Lavia as well.

Nope…now it has to be Enzo

I don’t think we should be still hanging in there as a back up if the Chelsea deal falls short. If he would rather play for them than a world famous sports icon, he is not good enough for us.
