no one doubted them having the money, its trying to fit the spend within FPP rules which is the issue. It was never about the money, hell they can afford to buy him for half a billion if they wanted

If they do something very dodgy is going on and their strike force looks lacking and their keeper is reserve level.
Might be fine against our defence but it’s going be lacking against other teams.
There is a part of me which hopes that we’ve had Lavia in the bag for the past few days but agreed to help Brighton absolutely rinse Chelsea, while pushing Chelsea to break FFP rules at the same time. I’ve had respect for Brighton ever since they got promoted, so I would like our club to have a good working relationship with them. On the other hand, I have zero respect for Chelsea and I hope they wallow in midtable forever.

The player/his agent wanted Chelsea. Of course they’ll wait a day for an extra £4m. Chelsea are the cunts and I’ve never wanted to win a game more than I do tomo. A 7-0 would be beautiful
Not saying that it’s not going to happen, but if they struggled to fund 115m, I find it hard to see how they are going to fund another 55m. Maybe, sell someone to Saudi League, again.
