Steve Nicol was a very good player. Not quite Phil Neal or TAA but very good nonetheless.
I think he believes that he should have been Liverpool manager at some point.
His name was mentioned after (some relative) success in USA. But like a lot of ex players touted to manage the club he was actually never in the frame.

Fear not. They are part of the generic international broadcast team and so you’ll get them regardless of who broadcasts it

I think Tyler’s ‘understudy’ (Bill Leslie?) is pretty decent to be fair… don’t mind listening to him as he seems pretty even handed with his excitement at either end of the pitch

Glenn “if Spurs played better than Liverpool they would have won” Hoddle?

The very same !!

Well to be fair you can’t really argue with that kind of analysis.

Ok, fair point.

Last Saturday night proved that.

So that’s where the idea for Hi-Viz coats came from eh :0)

Elton Welsby had some cracking ones if I remember.

Jermaine Jenas, every time I hear him he is talking down to us, fuck the wanker …

The BBC’s new ‘golden boy’. He’s being given more TV presenting jobs and he’s probably one of the favourites, to eventually take over from Lineker on Match of the Day.

To think he’s only about 2 degrees of separation from Des Lynam.

I think you are bang on here sadly.

We’ll all have to hope that Lineker pulls a ‘Queen’ on him and just goes on forever.

While Lineker is markedly better than Jenas, because who isn’t, I’d still rather not see Lineker on our screens either.
