I see Neville has done a complete U-turn from his faux outrage at the time of the offence.
Apparently our actions since are akin to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
We get it Gaz. We need to STFU and move on. None of this standing up for ourselves as we get shafted once more, how dare Liverpool Football Club call for any clarity in the face of the biggest fuck-up in the game in this country for years and years. We should know our place.
I suppose though if you support a club who regularly benefits from gifts from referees - gifts that help your club win titles, CL spots etc - then you become somewhat entitled and wonder what all the fuss is about.
My personal opinion is the club aren’t looking for the game to be replayed, but are likely watching pgmol like hawks for any proof of bias or inappropriateness and look to take the refs down. Get the season paused when it becomes undeniable that the refs and pgmol are not fit for purpose whilst they rebuild the standard and quiality of reffing that is actually unbiased and fair for all teams
There is a sensible argument that experts should really be qualified to comment on the top levels of the game. Weaving in values of political inclusion have nothing to do with this.
I don’t think there’s anything about political inclusion. If we were talking about political inclusion, the question would be why brainless idiots get to be paid to comment on it despite quite clearly knowing nothing about the game.
Again, that would rule out way too many people. Not sure I would qualify most of the pundits they have to be “experts”.
It’s odd how it’s always seen as “political inclusion” when it’s a minority being talked about, but nothing about the absolute dross being served up by the non-minorities, as can be observed by the existence of the 1000+ posts in this thread.
