Carra’s becoming more unlikable than Owen as a pundit.

Owen actually always speaks rather positive of us.

The interesting part of that, was watching the different reactions of the others.

Richards turned away as if to hide him laughing, but for the briefest moment he looked as if Carra nailed it. Henry and Kate Adbo both looked as pissed as each other - I might be reading too much into it, but was he suggesting that Kate is cheating with Henry?

The internet has a thing of Henry of being infatuated with her. Carra, as part of a tendency to allude to her personal life on air (in a way no male anchor would ever be subjected to), has at times alluded to that. But it’s never been so overt like that before.

Carra’s whole vibe in that setting is so off.

It’s a clown show trying to turn football coverage into some american sport bullshit spectacle.

The producers want them to be ‘funny’. So don’t be surprised or shocked if someone goes too far with a joke.

Was it a joke actually? There is a reason why Kate Abdo is where she is. She’s the multilingual eye candy.

Micah is the funny black dude. And he played for Man City. That’s all he offers.

I like listening to Carra about tactical stuff. Same with Thierry.

But the combination of the four. It’s just bullshit.

Carra is what happens when you let a clown be on TV. He should be coaching under 18s or doing volunteer work

Liverpool told to consider Man Utd target Gareth Southgate as Jurgen Klopp’s successor

Glen Johnson insists Liverpool shouldn’t rule out making England boss Gareth Southgate their new manager in the summer amid links to rivals Man Utd.

Johnson: Liverpool should not ‘dismiss’ Southgate

When asked whether Liverpool should be considering Southgate as their next manager, Johnson continued: “If he’s available in the summer, then you’ve got to look at all the options. He’s done a brilliant job with England, so there’s no reason why he can’t be successful with a club like Liverpool as he’d be dealing with a similar standard of players. You’d need to have the chat because you can’t just dismiss him if he’s available.”

Dear Johnson,

Stop smoking shit.

Regards, TAN

Nottingham Forest consider legal action against Gary Neville

Nottingham Forest could take legal action against Sky Sports after Gary Neville likened the club’s response to Sunday’s penalty controversy to a ‘mafia gang’.

The former Manchester United right-back called out Forest’s statement calling into question the integrity of VAR official Stuart Attwell.

The Premier League club are weighing up their response with legal action being considered by Forest’s legal team.

It is believed a letter is being prepared by Forest for Sky Sports concerning what Neville said.

Much as I don’t like the bloke I can’t support taking legal action against someone for expressing an opinion. You can disagree with it as much as you like but it’s just an opinion. :man_shrugging:

I really would like to see this lot go down.

As you said Neville is a knob but I’ve heard worse. The media have created this over that drop ball mind.

Saying that both Neville and Carragher were less critical of the decision than the likes of that prat Jenas.

Even before they that, they publicly declared they were demanding a written explanation from the PGMOL for why VAR was not used to rule out Toney’s goal against them (when he moved the ball before taking the free kick), despite it being clear that VAR does not get involved in issues related to restarts.

What a bitter nasty creature she is.

Something has been bugging me for a while, but should the phrase “I’ve seen them given” be an instant sacking offence for pundits.

What they are saying is that they haven’t got any idea of the rules of the game. They could say that some decision could or could not be made based upon the rules of the game, or even that there is some unseen angle that could affect the outcome.

What is their value add on this.

By default… they are also saying there is a big discrepancy, in what should be a straight line marker across the competency of PL referees

Instead of sacking a pundit for saying that, I would rather sack the ref when it gets used. It is basically saying that the ref has shown a lack of consistency in applying the laws of the game.

Which ref? The one that gave it or the one that didn’t.

I’d like to see a pundit explain the rule and the expected interpretation. Most pundits and commentators add less than nothing to the game.

Both! By becoming ref’s, it is clear that both of them are clueless

In all honesty, each match and ref performance needs to be reviewed with any wrong calls pointed out to all ref’s so that they know what the laws and how they are to be applied are. If original ref is deemed to have made the wrong call, they should be sacked. If a follow up ref gets a similar situation and makes a different call and they are deemed to be wrong, they are the one to be sacked. We need the refs to be held accountable, just like players and managers are.
