Unusual for Tariq to get this wrong.

Yes, it’s an awful argument as it ignores that the previous 50 odd laps were racing and this action invalided the outcome of those. It’s like being 3-0 in the FA cup final and then the ref suddenly declaring next goal is the winner.

So does Verstappen. Went toe to toe with Hamilton with an inferior car for most of the season. Also, let’s not pretend that Hamilton didn’t have decisions go in his favour too.

What they ended up doing to Hamilton was massively unfair, but it doesn’t invalidate Verstappen’s brilliant performance throughout the season.

This thread looks like a spurs forum

How do you know that? :astonished:

Well done Max. Got some nice assists by Masi for allowing the farce of the belgian GP and this race at tbe end.

Such a horrible end to whats been a wonderful season though.

Er when did he have an inferior car for most of the season. There were 4 races at the start that redbull were allowed to carry their eventually illegal rear wing where they gained huge advantage and points.

Still furious about this.

No, that’s why i’m on a football forum

I’m surprised Ferrari haven’t kicked up a fuss. Sainz would have been right up behind Max and Lewis if he wasn’t left behind two lapped cars. He had a real chance at bettering 3rd.

Still waiting for you to substantiate this. In the interim…

He had a good chance of challenging for the win. As did the Alpha Tauris behind him. Outside chance they could have moved above Alpine into 5th in the constructors standings.

You’ll be waiting a while then since I already addressed that request.
