The other thing about the FIA report is that they confirmed Spa last year should never have happened. Without that, Verstappen would have been behind Hamilton on points and level on race wins going into Abu Dhabi.

Yet another reason why Verstappen winning the WDC was a total bollocks job.

Heard about Marc Marquez not being able to race in MotoGP but did not know that the incident he was involved in. Also did not realised that the storm with lightning actually hit the track.

Here is a summary of MotoGP this weekend.

I’m sure they’re both fine young men, and I’m glad you like them. But what do you think of the sporting integrity of the Formula 1 world championship? Somewhere between FIFA World Cup host nation selection and WWF?

Talk about Schumacher getting away after crashing into Damon Hill ?

Hamilton was robbed. It’s quite clear that. It would take a whole lot of mental gymnastics to deny that. The point is that dodgy and shit offiiciating has been a part of F1 before as well.

This is the part that gets me w.r.t Schumacher.

People getting on his gravy train because it’s on some ott streaming channel. He was a cheating scum who did whatever it takes to win the titles , one that included having his team mates be lapdogs , getting away with illegal tech in his car , running opponents off the tracks… he gets a free pass because , well he’s had a very unfortunate accident … etc etc…

Rant over. Just had to listen to a guy who never saw schumacher race argue on why he was the greatest of all time…a couple of days back… on the basis that that stupid fuck saw a documentary of his

What’s changed this year, that makes overtaking easier?

Sky actually has a tech bits that talked about the aerodynamics and ground effects this year…There are less aero disruption immediately behind and next to the cars…unfortunately I cannot find the clip.

Thanks,I’ve just watched the You Tube video. I understand the changes a lot more now.

Here is another video that may help. Video released in Nov-2021.

In this excerpt from F1 TV’s Tech Talk, F1’s Head of Aerodynamics Jason Somerville gives us the lowdown on what to expect from the cars of 2022, and how the aero shake-up will affect racing in the future.

Many thanks.

 More to watch.

If a foreign country someone bombed a facility that close to where I work I would not be back in the office for fucking years, let alone going back in later that afternoon.

That’s why you work in an office and they drive a formula 1 car. It takes balls.

Sorry I now realized it sounded a little harsh but what I mean was that F1 drivers are a specials kind of people that are not scared easily.

Not according to Helmut Marko :man_facepalming:.
According to some news outlet with their translations, Marko claimed that “Max is pretty relaxed, Perez is somewhat scared,” said Marko to Sky Germany. “But if you live Mexico City it’s not much safer there. "

Mick Schumacher might have died in the crash he had today had he had it last season. TV said there’s been a rule change to ensure a 15% reduction in g-forces for certain types of impact.
