Yeah, Hamilton gave Verstappen enough room there. Verstappen just expected Hamilton to back off cause he was in the outside line. That’s entitled behavior. And that’s something that if red bull doesn’t give him a good car the following years, you’ll see more drivers calling him out against that driving behavior

After seeing the footage I reckon if Verstappen had done that against any other driver both would be in the hospital now. That has to be punished!
It appears that there are a lot of bad blood between RedBull and Merc in DTM as well. The following summary came from a poster on F1 and other racing discussion:
Basically Redbull and Audi drivers were 1 and 2 respectively into the final race, Mercedes driver 3rd in the championship. Audi then maliciously takes out the Redbull which then put Mercedes in mathematically chance to take the championship. Mercedes uses team orders to muscle their man (Gotz) to the front while simultaneously stalling and eventually retiring the AlphaTauri driver that was giving chase in a faster car. A win by AlphaTauri would have kept Redbull (Lawson) as the 2021 champion.
Mercedes have done a brilliant job here of exposing the batshit crazy interpretation of the rules.
