He had such a great game on Sunday. I’d love him to get a good run and see what he can really bring to the table (obviously). I do fear him and Thiago are destined to never spend much time on the pitch together though, depressingly.

This is so good to hear. I honestly felt like fate had played the cruellest of tricks on us when he was getting stretchered off on Sunday. All the elation of what had gone before was suddenly wiped away in an instant. Even the next morning I woke up with a pit in my stomach , fearing the worst.
Great news for Naby , and for all of us.

How they are classed as shin pads is beyond me, surely the physios should ensure there is at least a modicum of protection

I’m fairly sure that part of the shin pad that is visible is part of a larger shin pad but that bit is protruding more - either for style or substance who knows.

It takes more than a knee high tackle to put Naby out.
I think Naby felt more pain from the fall than from the tackle.
I’m absolutely gobsmacked. After three seasons of him injuring himself at the merest whiff I was convinced we’d only see him by early next May or something. Must have replaced him with a bionic version in the pre season without anyone knowing.
