FFS, if it’s not Afcon, is a damn coup d’etat.
I feel kind of dirty and ashamed that I saw the Keita thread had 50 new posts, expected it meant he was long term injured, and then was relieved that it’s just he’s in a country where a coup d’état is taking place.

fair point…we post in a bit of a bubble… ive caught myself a few times over the years in a similar mindset…
you come on here and your ultimately focussed on the club…even though everything is discussed and lots of great non football threads, the first thing you do when you get here is get on your LFC goggles.

I mean thinking about it from Naby’s perspective. He would be leaving behind family in a very uncertain political situation to return to club football. It’s not exactly Dunkirk. I feel very bad for the guy, it’s like Mars is prevailing or Saturn or whatever tarot, zodiac stuff.
