It’s not relevant because he’s never properly played in Europe (I don’t remember him playing Euroleague, the basketball equivalent of Champions League) - that’s where you want to be if you want proper basketball with proper fans and atmosphere. 
What am I doing in this thread? When I saw you quoted me, I thought it was a mistake. I know very, very little about basketball. I don’t even know all the rules! Which I should be ashamed of, with some of my family’s origins from Drazen Petrovic’s hometown/neighbourhood.
But all credit to today’s greats like Jokic and Doncic. Jokic especially seems like a very humble and original character, from the little I’ve seen and heard.

I am not a fan of basketball, but what is happening with the Spurs this year is incredible. This French kid is other worldly, not just in his talent, but his attitude of accepting all the pressure and asking for more is astonishing for a person of his age. Proper sicko mentality in how much he wants to beat everyone and put his foot on their throat after doing so.
His opposite number on the team they just beat is an American player of the same age who came up in the development ranks constantly being compared to Wemby. The American himself has developed into an all star caliber NBA player, but Wemby has such deep rooted animosity at this kid ever being compared to him that he wanted to not just win this series but humiliate this American kid for ever daring allowing himself to be put in the same conversation as him. The series went so badly for the American there is now serious talk that he has played his last game for OKC…and he’s a fucking all star.
Wemby is truly an alien being!
