This and games like this, will be one of the last chances Oxlaide Chamberlain has to get into the First Team again in his career. I have always liked him as a player type, before his injury he was a real force, an impact player. I am very interested and hopeful maybe more than certain, in seeing how he does and wish him well.
As for Keita, he needs to be stable, he can be a really good player and often is very good indeed, but he has also low levels as his lowest ceiling and can be practically invisible at times.
Also very curious about Jones. He was a very fascinating success last season. This season will be important for him if he is to fight himself into the First Team and he ought to be fired up for today indeed. Certainly an important game for him as well.
Minamino needs to step up. Last season he showed some real promise, but mostly was a disappointment to me as an impact player. Tsimikas pretty exciting. I don’t know yet how good he really is. Will follow him closely. And for Milner I am hopeful that he is, despite his age, maybe able to get to the level where he was 2 years ago, but I don’t know if that’s possible for him. Last season he had some performances that were not so good. He still has a pretty high ceiling as his lowest ceiling though and is a valuable force and personality in our squad. Solid man no matter how old he gets.
