Ozan Kabak (CB), Schalke

These are not the droids you’re looking for.

Now dance, my little monkeys. Dance.

Entirely possible neither CB will be with us next season but signing two players for £1.5m upfront is pretty good.

Haha, that’s Darth Vader levels of persuasion…

The chairman of Shalke obviously felt he preferred the return of his wife and kids

Kicker report it now, not as a done deal, but highly likely:

I love how Sky’s Transfer Centre are reporting that the option to buy would be at a fee of £80m. Someone must have told them over the phone and they’ve clearly thought…“no fucking way did I just hear 18 million quid, he must have said 80 million…”

Edwards is at it again.

No, no, guys, you got it all wrong.

Mars bar and a chicken club baguette and a can of Tizer as potential add-ons are for Mbappe.

PSG will get an autographed Kenny Dalglish kit and free tour of our CL Trophies.

I love the Kabak deal. We spend less than 1.5m on the loan fee and we have an OPTION to buy for 18m next summer if he shows up as a solid player for us. LFC have to be commended for getting defencive options on the cheap and still have some upside for improvement with Kabak! Klopp has gotten some reinforcements! Let’s challenge for the Title!! Go REDS!!!

Ok, so how soon should he start? I’d imagine BHA is a bit too soon, but throwing him in against MC might be rash.

Just now on the show its stated a fee of 30 million euros if its made permanent.

I think he comes off the bench against Shitteh for 10-15 minutes - unless we’re getting battered like a mars bar in Scotland, then see how he is settling in and possibly look at a start in the next 2-3 games after Shitteh.

But hearing rumours about his temper I’d keep him well clear of the bitters game.

Edwards has broken them.

Probably not before a month or two if the move materialises. Maybe he’ll also play back-up to other players until the end of the season, who knows. I don’t expect him to be able to slot in right away. This is a young promising lad, nothing more.

So you don’t think he’s a better bet than RW, NP, or playing Hendo at CB?

First choice will be Hendo and Fab if they are fit at the minute until the new guys get up to speed you would of thought.

You just love to see it, don’t you?

Liverpool looking to sign a CB, United waiting for Phil Jones to return from his 300th injury.

another club do Liverpool a massive favour, just like Wolves did when they agreed to sell Jota for an initial £5 million payment. Unbelievable how often they negotiate deals which favour them but stiff the selling club.

Apparently having competent people in charge of negotiations has its benefits.
