For the last couple of weekends I have been using my few free hours to play Ark, which I was surprised to find quite relaxing (until I got lost, came across a 30 ft snake attacking a dinosaur), made way back to my starting island only to be attacked by a pack of raptors so now am too scared to leave my hut).
Now, I’ve just seen the latest trailer to Destiny and am getting the urge to play that again.
I’ve been playing Total War Troy as they released a new DLC… As with all TW games, get past early/mid game its just a case of 1 by 1 taking out opponents… I even tried my best to allow the big enemy to grow into a powerhouse, yet by the time we come head to head they’ve lost 60% of their land and none of their armies are even max level…

Have never been any good at TW.
Even when watching youtube tutorials and trying the same tactics I can never win. Give me AoE II for a cracking real-time strategy game. Or FM.
I haven’t tried Troy yet although I have it free on Epic. I just can’t imagine playing a TW game now without magic 
Last month I was playing Tyrion in Warhammer 2 as I’d never played as the elves before.
The early part of them is always the hardest…
AOE 4i is coming out this year hopefully! Can’t wait.

Troy is very much scaled back units wise, back to your spearman front rank, flanking units, ranged behind etc. So no magic. It reminds me of a more up to date Rome in terms of battles and gameplay.
Still got the annoying ability for someone to send a small stack which devastates half your empire before you can stop them!
I had just finished an Empires save on Mortal Empires, that was great fun.
