Not sure i’d take Jones off for Thiago, i’d seriously consider taking Naby off instead

I would leave it as it is, need some tinkering from Klopp and we will be ok, Thiago needs some rest

I concur Dutch. Posted that earlier also. I’m surprised he started.

Rubbish. The league is still there to play for, despite what you want to believe.

He does but we need to win this, a few goals in the plus column would come in handy too in case it does go to GD

Agreed Peaches that the title race is still on, but given our options I don’t think Fab was needed tonight v Villa.

Just my humble opinion.

Then again … it could cost us one or two cups - hard choices

Right, and Klopp made the hard choice. You can’t legislate for things like injuries when you’ve still got it all to play for.

NOW, the Jota situation last year in the Mitjyelland(sp) match was different, as that match was entirely meaningless. This one isn’t.

Should have started Milner as our number 6.

That’s fair, but if Klopp felt he needed him then I trust his judgement.

I’d have gladly thrown this game to keep Fab fit.

Big second half on the way….can we have Mo on and desperate to score (at least) 5 goals please

Unsure what this performance has to do with Klopp, he’s not asking them to lose 50/50s, to misplace passes, air kick easy chances, cross to no-one or keep a solid defensive shape.

This team should be doing better, 45 minutes to do that.

Konate and Origi up front later on if we are not ahead. :grinning:

Virgil pulls a hammy - “oh he shouldnt have played”
Trent pulls a hammy - “oh he shouldnt have played”
Diaz pulls a hammy - “oh he shouldnt have played”
Mane pulls a hammy - “oh he shouldnt have played”
Jota pulls a hammy - “oh he shouldnt have played”

Although he is an equal opportunity fuckwit.

Klopp rotated well earlier this year, however, he has been reluctant of late and some players are looking a little jaded. Just look at Robbo and now Fab
