VAR isn’t going back that far in the play, which is why the offside flag should have been raised
Well the positives. I though Mané was very lively and clean with the ball. Some of Trent’s balls were exquisite. Diaz still fits in seemlessly.
We just need to play less like a 13/14 BRodgers team in this second half.
Think we grew into the half, after about 20 minutes we started finding our passes out from the backline and it’s gradually become more and more space.
Jones, Keita, Mane and Jota have all found joy with movement between the lines which bodes well for the 2nd half.
Think Diaz needs to stay more on the left and not move over to the right. He is so dangerous from the left.
Alisson does have the odd game where he is as jittery as fuck and the opposition fans seem to get to him.
I think Bobby central and Mane right, Diaz left might get some joy.
Obviously not!!
That’s what’s needed, rather than gifting the ball straight back by forcing the ball forwards. Villa got two high up front, with Phil in behind, so take that one extra pass to no gift the ball back to them to break.
Better get your Klopp out banner ready
If Villa had pressed this hard in other games, they’d be in a better league position.
Against the pace of that Villa midfield, i disagree.
Yeah try Mane on right and Diaz on left before Mo comes on
Feeling too much like an end of season meaningless game when it really isn’t…yet
The ref is struggling he’s far too fat to keep up with play.
Kostas hasn’t played much lately so finding his feet, Jota has been poor for a while and Keita started poor but then improved until his miss. Fab looked off it and got caught with a poor touch before injuring himself and Trent looks like he needs a rest as his quality has been amiss in the last couple of games
Nice shot Trent
And Fab is any quicker???
Phil shit his pants
Henderson winning the ball back again
Is the bar fridge one of the refs that is retiring after this season?
Whatever child
