We were really sloppy in possession for good chunks of this game, but the mentality is definitely right. No panic from the boys at any point.

Based on the first half no show thats a decent result.
Loved that little bit of composure from Darwin to pass to Mo…previously he would have either scored a worldie…hit the post…been offside

Just saw the replay of our 2nd goal. Whenever I think Mo is beyond his best he pulls such a rabbit out of the hat. His positioning before he got the ball was perfect

Away at the Arses, and twice behind. So a draw is a good result in that context. We gave away (aided by Anthony Taylor) too many cheap free kicks in the fist half, and Rice delivered a good ball with Virg keeping the Arses onside.
Darwin returned the favour for the midweek goal to lay it on a plate for Mo for our second goal.

On their 1st goal, I still want to know why the current coaching manual seems to be that you set up the line on the edge of the box from where their freekick was?
If you drop the line back to the penalty spot it makes the ball in far harder as there is less room for error.
You see it week in week out and it has me flummoxed
I do think Alisson would have been in a much better position than Kelleher for the saka goal.

Sure felt like we were second best, especially after the first half. But if you look at the match stats, we slightly edged them.
It’s a little disappointing given all of their changes, but it’s a good point all things considered.
