Superb first half.
Sloppy seconds…

Diaz goal fucking huge.

Isn’t it great to have our lads play a sloppy second half, and still come out 3-1 away winners in a CL quarter final? :+1:

Credit to Benfica for giving us a real match during the second half (we should have been 4 or 5 nil up after 45 minutes to be fair). Their early goal after the break gave them a push, and our lads suddenly stopped playing. That’s where our lack of clinical finishing during the first half could have come home to punish us. But Klopp made a few changes after some time, it stabilised the game, and then Díaz brought us that priceless third goal.

MoM Díaz for me, with mentions for Trent and Fabinho (what a clash at the end!.. hopefully he’ll be 100% ok for the next game, fingers crossed!).

Good result. Should have been more comfortable with the chances we had.

Keita, Trent or Diaz for Motm. 3 superb performances.

What a game by Diaz! He cannot stand out as a stunning piece of transfer business on a side that has Robertson, but the scouts damn sure earned their paycheques on him too. Unselfish assist for the Mane goal, then the pivotal 3rd late.

A piece of piss, Keita man of the match, they got a bit excited when we gifted them a second half goal but ended up comfortably winning the away tie. Onwards and upwards.

I think they will struggle on a more compact Anfield pitch, Dias goal is vital and Jota could have finished it but yeah excellent first half disappointing second until the changes took place and then we started to settle again.

Dias and Keita man of the match.

Sure most of us would have taken that result, but it was a poor goal to concede and we should have been more clinical at the other end, putting this to bed completely.

But a win is a win, and I’ll take them any way they come.

When scoring 3 away goals in a CL QF doesn’t feel overly exciting. We’re a winning machine and these are the glory days

Forgot to put Robbo in the Poll. Go vote again.

Trent Naby Fab were brilliant.

|Great 1st half, largely terrible 2nd.

Jota shouldv’e put the tie to bed.

Konate really struggled 2nd half.

Has to be first name on the team sheet for Sunday. Like a young Mané…brilliant in defence and attack

Great result.

Of course they came at us second half and scored a pretty flukey goal.

Good subs by the boss.

Diaz is my boy.

Starting to get worried about Mo.
