I’d say we rode our luck a few times. Nothing wrong with that, you need a bit of luck along the way in a crazy schedule.

They had 3 shots on target and the first was after 10 seconds so Alisson was not near as busy as some think.

England was always going to be on his best behaviour today after his antics at Spurs last season.
Webb will have had a word in his ear, don’t do anything to draw attention to yourself.
Same with Coote up until the Villa game. Except he couldn’t help himself with the foul on Salah leading up to Nunez’s goal. The rest is history.

If City win tomorrow, they become our prime rivals. I’d rather have a draw, keeping Arsenal at increased distance, but City as well. That said, a City win is for sure preferable to an Arsenal win.

He wasn’t as busy, indeed. But the couple of saves he made that were so important, and in crucial points of the game, that without those it could have been a totally different game. He stepped up when we needed him.

BS on MotD that Macca should have had a second yellow. He was watching the ball coming down and clearly didn’t see the Bournemouth player, who threw himself in front. Would have been a travesty.
