Saw some signs of improvement tonight.
All the referees fault again. That long throw at the end from Gomez offers a glimpse of hope going forward. We looked good when Brentford kept it on the deck.

Really worried about us now. Our football is absolutely boring. Atleast we were exciting even though we were at times poor at back in the last decade. This is just snoozefest.
No ideas how to transition the ball forward, no clue how to defend, just aimless passes hoping something will happen.
While I totally get we have this as a transition season, there still needs to be some plan and progress across games even if it doesn’t come off. This can’t keep continuing - both the performance and results this bad.

Ripped up a winning formula.
Summer window looks full of really bad decisions.
We don’t look like we have any form of defensive solidity.
So, so many problems and the heat is starting to turn up on Slot. I think he deserves time to try and sort this mess out but continue with these tactics and he might not get that time.
Besides a rotten Frankfurt, we genuinely haven’t played well once this season.
Surely the FIRST thing we need to do is stop conceding goals?
We’re something like two months ahead of last season in terms of the number of goals conceded…FML

Approaching crisis levels for Slot. Not sure we can blame teething issues with new players anymore, given that the bigger issue seems to be our defensive shape and basic errors.
Slot deserves time to try and fix this — he earned that with the title win — but we need to see an improvement in application and concentration across the side.

Sums it up when we needed 2-3 goals and we send on Joe Gomez (yes, to move the midfielder who shouldn’t have been at right back).
We’re a proper fucking shambles. Undoubtedly, Slot will have plenty of time. At least this season. Will be interesting to see if he can fix this

Slot doesn’t ‘deserve’ time to fix this.
He has to show he has the answers. If he doesn’t, he’s out. He doesn’t get a free pass because he won the league last season, he needs to improve now.

Last season the pressure wasn’t on Slot to win. This season it is and he’s failing miserably.
Poor performance. Refereeing disgraceful. Simply not good enough though. No composure, too many basic errors, and a few questions. Some reflection needed before the next game.
Why exactly was the referring disgraceful?

Were not going to win the league, that’s off the table. This will be a fight for top five and if we won’t improve it will be a struggle.
No structure, no chemistry and the manager has zero ideas how to fix this. He seems lost and the team doesn’t put up a fight

This is now full on the manager. The team is no longer responding to his tactics and instructions. Players look lost, devoid of confidence.
Things have to change.
