It’s not the reason we lost, but how bad is Mamardashvili’s kicking?
Surely they practice that shit.
Made a couple of good saves though to be fair.

Νot surprising or even that disappointing anymore. This is who we are.
We cannot play with intensity because we don’t have the physical condition for it. We did it on Wednesday and this what we got on Saturday. This has been the case since the start of the season.
Worse player of the match? Konate, Van Dijk, Frimpong take your pick. There are a lot of candidates.
And Welbeck, 82
I guess Wednesday was yet another false dawn. Story of the season, unfortunately. Now the question is, with the international break, do you keep Slot around, for the rest of the season?
Really wished we had kept Darwin and shipped Cody off to Al-Hilal
I was also booked during that game.
Sad to say I told you so…but I told you so
Hopefully a lengthy ban awaits ![]()
Slots training and conditioning is about reducing injuries. The players cant be blamed for being gassed every other game. Winning the Prem is about fitness and high tempo. We saw it in the second half of last season, how the team began to drop off and lose games. We are now fully immersed in Slots football
Ending the game with Frimpong and Kerkez subbed off, Ramsay and Gomez on the bench and Jones and Gravenberch in the back 4 perfectly encapsulates the chaos Slot has led the team with this season.
Nothing like waking up two hours earlier than usual to watch your favorite football club lose. Oh the joy.
I made so many posts about turning corners in another thread…
I am not sure if that is even paying off with our injury list of ST injuries piling up.
Usually, the pre-season fitness conditioning has to be gruelling so that the players have the legs to get used to playing for 90 minutes or more.
Such conditioning gradually tapers off when you start your season. Alongside with the conditioning, there must also be frequent squad rotation during the match or in the starting lineup.
This season, Slot and his trainers has fucked that all up. No proper fitness conditioning and no proper squad rotation.
They all deserve to go.
Watched the first half then turned the TV off and went for a nice walk in the sunshine. The first time I’ve ever done that in nearly 70 years of supporting the Reds. We desperately need at least two new defenders and two midfielders. After Wednesday I thought we were getting back to some sort of decent form but we were back to our Premier League standards. I just hope that we don’t embarrass the Club when we take on PSG.
If it keeps me ignorant to the PSG result I’ll take it.
We’ll either win by the skin of our teeth or get skinned alive!
Oh well, another weekend I won’t have to bother with MoTD

And two wingers. Bare minimum. Salah is going and Gakpo has to go.
What does it actually take for Mac Allister to miss a game? He hasn’t looked fit all season, and he played 90mins on Wednesday and 90mins today.
