Spent 2 1/2 minutes proving Mo was offside for Elliots goal, and zero seconds considering that Mo had been pushed into an offside position.
Ignored the push in the back on Endo, then 5 seconds later booked Trent for a very innocuous foul.
Gravenberch is so far off the pace it’s embarrasing.

Last game of 2023 won comfortably, even with decisions against us. Top of the league, best goal difference, in late knockout stages of two cup competitions.

Both goals should have stood, end of story.
Tierny and Hooper are biased cunts. They chose to disallow them because they wanted to.
That said, we really shouldn’t be wasting so many opportunities, thank fuck that Jota is back.

Less than comfortable to win it was a stroll.

They had a 10 minute spell just after Elliots disallowed goal where we were far from strolling.
Thankfully it was handled well enough

The thing about Jota is that he doesn’t need too many chances to stick the ball in the back of the net. A very intelligent player and reminiscent of Robbie Fowler.

City got a goal in a similar position. Apology from PMGOL or not, its an arbitrary decision that we never get.
If the goal today is deemed as Mo being offside, then the push on him into that position needs to be checked for a possible penalty.
And its not about wanting to change rules, its more about a consistent and equitable application of those rules.
Three major incorrect decisions against Liverpool in two games over the Christmas period, when we are in contention…

It was a comfortable win. 2-0, no shots on target for them, and we strolled through it for the most part.
It got more nervy than necessary because we didn’t add a second goal until late on. When there’s only a goal in it, you are always susceptible to a sucker punch, especially with a ref who delights in sticking it to us.
Alls well that ends well.
Top of the league, let’s see what Arsenal do now.
We aren’t purring along but we are still in a title fight.
