In isolation, you can make a case for the ref. Seem them given types. Seen them not given. That’s what the media focus on.
But the real problem is the the way the game is controlled by Oliver throughout the game. This aspect is never fully looked into by the media. Virgil highlighting it is the best that we’ll get.
Everton milked the ref and got the reward.

If I was to be gracious I will say that, despite the fact there was an ignored foul in the build up, Tarkowski took the goal very well. Lile that Phil Jagielka one - neither player could ever do it again.
