I find both TNT and sky tend to ignore big decisions that go against us, I can’t remember what game recently when a similar decision went against a rival and they talked non stop about it.
He doesn’t have one.
It would definitely feel like a missed opportunity if we didn’t win the league. But we’re going to, so maybe some people could chill the fuck out
Man City are spending £140m on players and we’re not.
We haven’t exactly been punished for not having a stellar January as the other teams have also been shite so far atleast.
Arsenal probably will win their game against Spurs but it still is in our favour.
We get a couple of relatively easier fixtures after Brentford and we hopefully kick on.
We won’t get a penalty with Kavanagh ref and Brooks on VAR.
Simple as that.
Good result despite the whining on here about not winning.
Jota is being played back to match fitness. He’ll take over that striker role. Diaz and Gakpo both play best on the left, so a case of rotation there.
We have hit a little bump with 13 points from a possible 21, but need to put things into perspective.
The CL games this month needs rotation for sure. Can’t be playing Alexis, Grav and Dom every minute of every game.
Andy was obviously told today not to overlap. He only did it a couple fo times. Trent was told to invert and be aware defensively, which he did. And the pass for Diaz in the first half should’ve led to a goal.
You are just succumbing to melodrama.
We do have a habit of signing players who’ve had worldies against us. In this case, long may it continue.
Arsenal can’t score goals. They never addressed there biggest weaknes even after certain supporters had told us they had strengthend amazingly well.
Do think we need someone to freshen the legs in defense. The right someone that is. But yeah… Nah… We aren’t in a crisis.
Spurs can’t stop conceding goals. So evens out.
He lives to moan.
Murillo and if possible Aina as well.
United and Forest were two tough away games that we could have won but got decent points. Before that we won 5-0, 6-3 and 3-1.
Some absolute shite being spouted in here tonight
We were not on our game that night which is why the scores were nil all before the goal. Sometimes as a team you don’t play well and a small moment can therefore decide the match.
You can’t win em all. I don’t see that Lisa as disappointment but more a momentary lapse that got us back on track the game after that one against Milan then Bournemouth in the league.
We move on.
Someone in the match thread started panicking that they were “gaining quickly” when they were 2-0 up. Someone else said “They’re the biggest threat and signing players”.
10 minutes later it was 2-2
Good night reds c ya Saturday.
Do think we need someone to freshen the legs in defense. The right someone that is. But yeah… Nah… We aren’t in a crisis.
Just for the record, I’d like us to get a defender and a midfielder. But Liverpool will not just buy someone for the sake of buying someone. And I fully support that. If someone we like is available, then we’ll move. But anyone thinking that we should just get a player, is going to be disappointed.
I do think we tend to be a bit shite against teams which have a back 5 and crowd their penalty area while defending which is what the likes of United and Forest did do against us.
But it was a problem under Klopp as well to some extent.
Thought we’d turned a corner on that when we beat Leverkusen but apparently not.
