Post Match: Fulham v Liverpool (EPL 13/12/20 4.30pm)

Poor display against a god awful team who won’t be taking many points off others to at least make us feel better.

Way too many injuries to sadly stay in this, it’s the bare bones before today and then we lost Matip, TAA went off hopefully just because he isn’t fit to play 90. Should have taken the free kick in the first half.

Alison Becker keeps it from turning into Villa in the first 30 so he gets MOTM.

Will be 0-0 mate. It’s going to be a shithouse Mourinho masterclass. Get money on it.

I think I’d take 0-0 at the moment.

0-0 with no more injuries and I think I’d agree, we at least have the crowd.

Absolutely bizarre that in a season with minimal fan presence, LFC should have such dramatically different home and away standards.

But losing by one because of draws sort of sucks or did you forget 18/19 season?

The other teams at the moment aren’t consistent enough to take advantage. This season is completely different.

Didn’t deserve to win this one, Klopp needs to figure out a game plan for those teams that packs the midfield and stifles our game plan. This game is where I think we really miss a player like Thiago. His passing would’ve helped in unlocking Fulham defence. Our tactics is starting to become really predictable especially on the road, we need to play faster and more direct. Too much passing back and trying to switch plays.
We couldn’t get control of midfield today, so many loose balls and wayward passing. The press was non existent and Fulham sat back and picked us off.
No one really stood out for today, just one of those days.
Curtis Jones what a player he’s gonna become, too bad he couldn’t score that crazy run from midfield. It would’ve been goal of the year .
With the games coming thick and fast, I hope they can get through this stretch without losing anymore players, it’s absolutely crazy how the injury bugs have gotten us this season. Sigh, however I do think this season will have an exciting title race, which is good for the league.:+1:
Big game mid-week, gotta win that one against Tottenham.

At Anfield, we are different animal, but it will be a shitty game, problematic, if Matip doesn’t play

I thought he did well, if the other players hadn’t ignored him so much when he made interesting runs we might be saying something else (Firmino’s none 1-2 with hims was criminal). He started off offering the short option never got the ball so changed he’s trying now for the others to make an effort as well imo.

Is it just me or does Scott Parker look more and more like a Thunderbirds puppet every time I see him?

No he’s always looked like that, he was the model.

At least butter hardens up when it cools down! These boys who are constantly injured even during practices is amazing. Reminds me of motor oil instead of melted butter, always runny, never hardens especially the likes of Shak who is always hurt or hurting!

Best game Taki had played for us so far. He wasn’t great but did well. Atleast something to improve upon…

As his name suggests he was Parker and Lady Penelope’s lovechild

I ask my self, the same…

  1. Everyone want’s to take our scalp!?
  2. 4 points were stollen…
Still, some shitty performances, except chelski and 35 mins against city
…not having Thiago is a big loss, we look very disorganized all the time,

That is so true :joy:. It is his hairstyle which reminds me of that programme.

I think we’ve played well in more games than we did last season, today wasn’t one of them.

First half was unacceptable, sleepwalked through the first 30 minutes and lucky to be only one down.

Second half was improved with better finishing we could have won. The dropped points would have taken us top but that’s not the main concern. When most of the senior players look utterly destroyed, labouring to make a run, there is a big problem.

Injuries are destroying us. We got 3 players back in full training and lost 4 in the space of 4 days. That’s just not sustainable especially in this season.

I don’t know how Klopp prepares the team for Spurs.
