We not in trouble yet, we not in trouble yet, we not in trouble yet, we not in trouble yet…
Sure, a poor ref but ultimately another underwhelming performance from us. We are like ten games into the season and things aren’t just clicking. A porous defence, no control in midfield and our attack is looking blunt. Last season Slot often managed to turn games around at half time, haven’t seen anything of that this season.
We don’t look like Slot team at the moment. I get that we need to get the new players to gel but it feels like he has his work cut out for him. There are some tricky games coming up and we are under more scrutiny this season obviously
Think arne has been on it too
Well we were better against Palace in the second half, though how could we be any worse.
The Palace 2nd half was good but unfortunately the first half rolled into the full 90 minutes today.
Yeah, fair point. But in general our performances have been average, not noticeable better in the second halvlek this season
Pearce has tweeted Isak was on for 30 minutes and touched ball 4 times
Mostly our first half’s have been better mind.
Think that has more to do with getting him the ball than Isak playing bad
He should get used to it. No CF in this team is going to get any service playing this turgid shite.
I didn’t say he did play bad I think you will find i stuck up for all the forwards saying they get no service.
Genuinely don’t think Slot has a clue what to do with these players, nor what to change.
Konate, mate; hands down the worst performance ever delivered by a Liverpool player.
Chelsea will monster us in midfield. Slot and his lack of ideas and the fact we are looking worse every week, is starting to be of concern.
That’s putting it too kindly, we’ve been worse than average
One of the worst matches I’ve ever seen. A stop-start mess designed to cause telly punchings all over the land. The referee belongs in The Hague.
We were pretty shit, but I genuinely don’t think you can draw too much from that. We played about 10 mins of actual football in total.
Bit of work to do on the shape before a tricky fixture at the bridge, though.
“Worst ever performance”? It wasn’t even his worst performance this week!
The worst thing is that Galatasaray were rubbish. They were there for the taking.
Under normal circumstances we’d win that 2 or 3-1.
- We only conceded 1 goal.
- This was the best first half I have seen from Mo this season.
- I am struggling to keep positive about Wirtz.
- What a complete shit starting lineup.
I only saw the last 15 mins and that was enough. Slow build up combined with poor passing. We never looked scoring despite all the possession we had.
Glad to see that Arne paid attention to my advice and benched Mo. I think he should do that again on Saturday.
Only saw the first half and then BT internet jacked in. Just cannot understand why basic through balls catch us out. Same as the Palace game on Saturday. Do we need to defend deeper. Surely the coaching staff can fix this.
