Probably the best game we’ve played in the last couple of months. We weren’t great, but we were solid and as the game wore on, increasingly dangerous.

We are still miles from where we should be, but if we build on this and do well against Brighton, then we can start talking about the first real signs of recovery.

Gravenberch was excellent, his best performance in weeks, Jones in the first half and Szoboszlai in the second also excelled. Slot’s subs were crucial too, Wirtz and Bradley made a telling difference.
