The ref was a homer from the start the third Isak goal was not offside this is the third goal we get chalked off with an ultra forensic offside and it was open season to clatter into our players with impunity especially Wirz and Gakpo and a very dodgy kick on Virgil it could have injured him.him and VAR were like a tag team on bad decisions against Liverpool the only time we got free kicks was deep in our half. I hate having to complain about the ref but it is going to be even worse against big teams I do hope I am wrong.

Agree, he was really good, Virgil. Seemed like he decided after he got fouled - which obviously Mr. ‘Good process’ overlooked - that he’d just keep all the little tractor boys in his pockets.
Was so impressed with Gakpo. After club briefing for months that they were willing to sell him, he’s shown brilliant character (at the risk of sounding like Brendan). Our best player this season. Never wanted him to leave.
Isak showed much more fight in 1st half and deadly finishing.
Feels much safer having Araujo at RB. Much scarier prospect for a winger compared to facing Frimpong.
Still a bit worried about Wirtz. Has all the talent in the world but finding it hard to impose himself in the PL

So happy for LFC and Iraola to get their first win of the season. I felt that Liverpool were comfortable throughout, our team defense was incredible, snuffing out anything that Ipswitch tried to put together. Barcola showed some things, when he came on, and I can’t wait to see these guys click. And Gakpo, take a bow my friend, you were immense. On to the CL.
The assist for the second goal..wow. The first is also very good, but the second, that’s some pass. Our guy channeling his inner Modric, just brilliant.
