Most thought after the loss of Gomez and Virgil that we had enough firepower to outscore the opposition on most days. That hasn’t been the case.

While Var and officiating has been blatantly against us… If we handled our business. The Refs would not have as much impact as they have had.

It’s a big reason. It’s hard to know to what extent the injuries, crowds, luck and officiating has kicked the shit out of our lads.

I get that we’d hope that they could focus on the things they can change and rise above the things that they can’t, but it must be fucking hard.

There is 100%. Can’t remember too much under Rodgers as I wasn’t into social media as much back then but yes Jürgens mum’s condition was known back then. How is that known? That’s been told from Jürgens mouth to someone. The team is constantly leaked every week. Injuries are always known early. Sure i knew this week Thiago hadn’t even trained. Was that even announced by the club or was that rumours?

Also to rant more about this Morgan. What’s the story with these injuries. Arsenal were fucked last year with injuries when he was there and now us this year while he’s with us. No wonder there seemed to be no drama from Arsenal when he came to us. Probably was shite and they were happy to get him off the books. Stealing a living.

We must have broken quite a few mirrors and ran over a few black cats we are really having rotten luck with injuries and everything else I hope they have a plan to halt this disastrous slide the worst is they have to do it before Tuesday as Leipzig rested quite a few players and still win comfortably in the Bliege

He’s been off form, but in this match I thought he made several nice runs, beating his man a few times, etc. Needed more runners from midfield to get in the box.

And when there were runners in the box, inexplicably Andy tried to shoot rather than find three unmarkjed players lining up to tap it in.

VAR is bullshit. That camera angle cannot do a proper call with the angle it’s on. Linesman had a better angle and he called it

We almost now deserve to be treated the way the officials treat us. I say this because we should be in the ref’s face every single time a penalty is not given, or an offside call is not given against our opponent. If this means getting 4 yellow cards in the process, so be it. We are softies and I won’t accept the notion that we need to be the sportsmen of the league.

Can you imagine Citeh, Madrid, Barca, Juve, PSG players taking everything on the chin like we do? They’d fighting for 4th too.

I’m not sure I buy the “we have a mole story”.

Yes I have seen the team leaks be spot on but to be honest with you our team at times is so predictable it isn’t hard to guess. Due to injuries and a lack of real depth etc

I’ve also seen those predictions be way off.

To be honest if you have a team of 10 people (or however many is part of the coaching team) it probably wouldn’t be that difficult to weed out who the leak is.

Our team this season has been hampered by injuries but way too many people have been off the boil.

Alisson - has had a few mental moments as well as a few injuries. No competition

Trent and Robbo are no where near their form for last 2 years (a little tired perhaps) no competition

We can’t talk about centre backs because it’s not been consistent enough to even evaluate. Let’s hope VVD and Gomez come back to their previous levels and they don’t all of a sudden start picking up injuries everywhere. Matip needs to go. Good defender for 1 match but he can’t put a run a games together.

Hendo and Fab are seriously missed in midfield

Thiago either hasn’t settled or just doesn’t fit with us
(It might take him 6-12 months in fairness and his injury didn’t help)

Gini is off and he is probably subconsciously going at 80%

Curtis Jones is being pushed but isn’t up to it yet (he will one day before people kick off) but not yet

Keita - just please get rid

Milner - is a top professional and does a job but probably not going as many games as previously.
Fit but age waits for no man.

Ox and Shaq - ok for bit part roles but not good enough to start (bit harsh perhaps because they had long term injuries but when given their chances they don’t really offer much)

Origi - is he still here

Mo - is top scorer but it’s amazing how many chances he misses

Mane - see robbo and Trent

Bobby - he doesn’t score enough goals for a centre forward and this season hasn’t offered much else. He link up play is usually shit hot but this season it’s just been shit.

This team was rightfully lauded over the past 2-3 years because they were seriously good.

In the same manner they now have to accept the criticism because they’ve been poor all season. (Bar one or 2 good performances).

Truth is that the cracks were appearing aprox 12 months ago.

It’s like that 3-0 thrashing at Watford did something to the boys mentally.

BS, yesterday was not his fault, when the goalkeeper shouts for the ball everybody should get out of the way and we where fucked by the match cunts. City was on him, that’s it.

This, this is what I’m seeing. Yet every time i question what our coaching team is doing I get slated.
What I keep seeing is players, take Gini, trying to do what they have never done for us before, this isn’t the way through a slump.
We come out full of energy play 1 decent half yet without creating 1 decent chance. Then after half time we make an half arsed effort to contain the opposition, what the fuck goes on at half time, what the fuck is said (seems like 'so attacking them didn’t work, let’s sit back more and hit them on the counter) fucking nonsense. It’s all backward. We should come out trying to wear the opposition down then in the second half hit them full speed with Salah and Mané (but what are Salah and Mané doing in the second half? they’re fucking defendingor worst still just loitering amongst the opposition defenders.
How can you lose Milner, put on Thiago then later deliberately sub off Jones for AOC that’s criminal! Whose our DM? Whose helping our CBs? (I’ll tell you it’s mainly TAA, yes the same TAA who gets lamblasted for his defensive attributes at full back let alone centrally.
As for Thiago we can clearly see he needs a lot more space to be effective, he just can not take the intensity. Kabak when it comes to reading the game is no better than Williams Phillips is a monster in comparison.
So what are our coaches doing? (We are better than tis even if VVD is out injured)
I also feel that now we are seeing that we have carried players, Firmino, one decent action all game (did lead to a goal mind), Gini, now he’s being asked to make an effort looks completely out of place ineffective, with Salah off the boil we look toothless, he was well aggressive in his 1st season but now looks like a puppy out there.
What we need is Fabinho and/or Henderson in the DM role to help out the CBs and let TAA and Robbo loose again to overlap why are they crossing from soo deep?
