Post match: Leicester v Liverpool (EPL 20/4/25 4.30pm)

The bank holiday Monday

Sometimes the obvious needs to be stated

Similar to TAA, in his earlier days, when he was a young twig. Klopp got TAA into the gym, and fed him a side of beef every night, et voila.

Looks like he had one for lunch yesterday, too.

And about twenty roast potatoes.

Fuck me, you must have some body if you think Trent is fat

And it was said tongue in cheek, but all should still be held to account and Mo should get some criticism as weÄșl, even though without his goals this season we wouldn’t be where we are now.

On our perch,

Im not going be massively critical the position we are in and what he has done this season.

He also produced the assist for the opening goal last week. Others need to step up when a player goes out of form.

He looked well more lively yesterday so I assume that was down to the lack of a proper RB.

Yes he was far better and more involved, but still missed a fair few good chances, but as you say it doesn’t help that, Gakpo, Jota and Nunez are also not firing.

The only one that has been on it is Diaz who was moved from his most effective position.

He’s done his job for this season for me. The others need to be stepping up and bar Diaz they are not.

He is being paid a lot more than the others so needs to be there week in, week out,

He is also not an android.

He was incredibly unlucky on one chance and did provide two other chances.

I’ve said this time and time again on here the useful thing about having 5 strikers has been your usually see 2-3 in form.

His performances this season have put us needing 3 points. Frankly I find your opinion quite absurd.

I do agree I am being absurd, but how many times more is he being paid compared to Diaz, five times as much?

When you pay top dollar you expect results and realistically, less off days, that is why Nunez at $85m is a poor buy, whereas someone like Chiesa is less so at $12m even though Chiesa has offered far less.

Mo has been our saviour this season and we wouldn’t be where we are, but he is paid the money and it is only reasonable that he is expected to deliver.

Has Diaz been delivering all season then, is his numbers at a level of Mo’s compared to the cost of wages?

I’m sorry but it’s bollocks, he’s been off since we had to start playing Midfielders and central defenders at right back. In context it’s been about a month on average in the number of games.

Perfect example of form and timing is consider Isak who hasn’t done much in his last 3 games, in fact against Villa I didn’t even note he was on the pitch. But Newcastle have seen the likes of Harvey Barnes and Jacob Murphy step up. I would assume the latter isn’t even close to Isak.

Salah’s numbers are arguably the best of his career. If he struggles for a month and a bit so be it. Others need to step up.

I repeat he isn’t an android.

Diaz numbers pound for pound are on par

I don’t expect Mo to be an android, I do realise players have a slump in form, but he still had 4 good chances that you would expect him to score with and his finishing was disappointing and as I have said we wouldn’t be here so far in front without Mo.

But he seems immune from criticism.

Not immune, but in the season that he has broken the PL record for goals+assists it should probably innoculate him somewhat from criticism about his contributions

But he could have set even greater records, anyway I reckon Mo’s biggest critic is Mo, he wouldn’t be happy with missing what he did.

Two posts up he seems immune from criticism, now he’s his own biggest critic?

So, essentially only people who are at least as good as Salah are permitted to criticise him.

Therefore he’s immune to criticism but also his own biggest critic.
