I think that Thiago is a class player was injured deliberately as he was looking to kick on after the Chelski game and did not have the debut that he deserved and in the last few games the refs have given him a yellow early on in the games for a nothing tackle but just watch him go in the CL where he will thrive because the refereeing will I hope be more sensible.
I didn’t need to see Tiago get booked after 3 minutes to know he got booked after 3 minutes, nor did I have to see the penalty to know one was given.
I have already said several times they may have been the correct decisions. That isn’t the issue.
I’m not going to re-state the issue because it’s pretty obvious you can’t comprehend it.
And I really am going to leave it there.
A Liverpool supporter on a Liverpool supporters forum saying that its hard to argue with Roy Keane’s synopsis of our tenure as champions. Good answer @FGred
No offence, it is towards those fair weather fans who think that the manager should be changed ASAP and getting rid of x,y and z players ASAP will solve all the problems. It is easier said than done.
We even hadn’t had time to digest our winning the league after 30 years. We went straight into the new season.
Thanks @Maria.
This is what football all about, sometime you win and sometime you loose. This year not to much have gone our way, but we are still RED to the bone, and we will Come back Again. I’m a believer, and I have been RED and
a believer for over 50 year now
Ironically, in yesterday’s game our penalty was much softer than theirs. I think Oliver is a good ref, but I think Salah doesn’t get a pen for a slight, but decisive, tug on his arm with anyone else.
Well thats pretty standard, I actually think he’s been pretty consistant. Was singing our praises and lambasting Utd all last season.
I do agree with him on one point, we need to stop feeling sorry for ourself.
We have 7 days now, enough time to get the team back into some sort of normality… Get Kabak starting, get Hendo back into midfield. No more excuses, come out at Leicester and proper go at them.
Roy Keane was a tremendous player, but he would have had no chance of dragging his Utd team through the kind of shit we’ve had to deal with this year. So he can shut his fucking cave.
Every time Keane opens his mouth, it must be remembered that he may be consciously looking for another job in management. He needs to sound as though he knows what he is talking about at all times, to convince the clueless, non footballing chairperson like the Ed Woodward’s of this world…
Any LFC fan knows the truth…
He hates Liverpool FC
He talks shite 95% of the time
If he ever went face to face with our Jurgen, there would only ever be one winner!
Easiest job in the world going round crapping on every team and every player. So easy. I could be a Roy Keane the pundit clone if there was a decent wage in it.
And Micah didn’t cover himself in glory by having a dig at Souness…singing his little song and laughing…he only got that job coz no-one else was available, so they asked for any has been player to apply…oh and last week (according to Micah) we couldn’t be beaten…so smart mouth just keep ya gob shut…
Just to stoke the flames a little here, 538 has our non-goal xG (expected goals based on actions that aren’t related to directly to goals, e.g. play around the box, but not shooting) as having edged City. We were just really terrible at taking our shots (and having the opportunity to do so). We can’t really change our luck, but we really need to be taking our shots better.
