Back to winning ways. Clean sheet. And no injuries.
Slot’s real test starts now.
Great to see the fringe players getting time out there and the kids.
Some good minutes for the fringe players.
I like Danns, definte eye for a goal, would like to see more of him playing.
Only caught the second half, but enjoyed that. All the kids did great imo, and Chiesa looked really lively, his goal was richly deserved.
Good game! Everyone played very well and great to see youngsters get some minutes.
We were firmly in control with up to 85% possession and rarely got out of first gear.
Some lovely touches from young debutant Ngumoha and Chiesa was also really impressive.

Comfortable win without getting out of second gear. Good minutes for some fringe players. Exciting glimpse of some younger lads. No injuries.
Job done.
Full backs did well. Found myself getting quite frustrated with Elliott’s decision making in the final third, but that’s my only quibble.
It’s nice having so many forwards who are insatiable in their hunger to score. Let’s hope they bring that energy against Forest, because that’s a huge game that is giving me the jitters.
A very satisfying game for us. A lot of young players getting a chance to show us what they can do, four nice goals, the nil at the back.
Credit to Accrington, who not only managed to stay in the game during 80 minutes or so, but wanted to make a game of this, in a good, sporting spirit, and got also a few good chances for themselves.
A good goal for Danns, and a first for Chiesa! Both deserved it on the basis of their performance.
Excellent!
We were expected to win this and it may have been a temptation to play all kids, but I think Slot used this game well, with a mix of experience and those that needed the experience.
Not necessarily the best performers, but I put Ngumoha, Danns and Chiesa as MotM as I felt they made the most of their opportunities.
I quite enjoyed Accrington as well. They put in a decent shift and actually made a game of it.
The muppet on the tv said Elliott got a good hour out there today, Elliott didn’t get subbed on the hour that was Morton.
I like the look of Danns too. Seems to make things happen.
Earlier in the game - cruel but made me smile :0)

I know it’s early days in this match, but already Nunez has had a couple of squandered chances, the second being much easier than the first. Not a fan of Darwin, and the early wasted opportunities have just confirmed why. How Liverpool stick with him is beyond me.
Tim
So far Darwin Nuñez not enhancing his reputation in front of goal. Think it’s a good idea for LFC to move him on. Scores cracking goals, but only 1 in 40 ish fly in.
Neal, LFC fan in Holland
New name required, I suggest Overthebar Nunez.

Job done - Arne played it well with the selection and subs. Getting through and without any injuries was the main thing, few scares but thankfully they could all carry on.
Now when’s this fucking draw? Utd or Spurs at home next please. Or Everton too since they’re players wanna be funny cunts asking for Accrington next round. Any one of you cunts can get knocked out.
I think Slot played the right team there, always a clamour to play kids but the youngsters will get more out of playing with the seniors there today than if they had played an U23s team and lost.
Easy win as expected. Lots of players rested which was good to see, as that has been a little question mark for Slot. Nice day out for Accrington Stanley and a big payday to help set them up for a while. Everyone wins.
Bigger tests to come.
Endo’s performance was commanding. He marshalled the defence well. Hope this convinces Slot that he can be depended on. Ngumoha - wow - he is a future superstar! Hope he develops well with no injury issues. Danns is another gem we need to polish. It may be just Accrington Stanley but this win should blow away the negative vibes of the previous two games and allow Slot a chance to do a reset to the team.
