Finally a match where the question was when and how we were going to score, rather than concede.

So many times I thought the ball had gone in only for it to be a poor angle or lag. Finally though, we made it.

Thank you.

Feels great to getting back to winning ways, lets keep it going.

When do we play next again?

Still very tense but thrilled for the lads. The effort paid off.

Matip might be our best defender ngl.

Alot more intense and overall the team played with more fire and purpose. The first half showed the best and worst, while the goal we let in is a result of TAA not tracking the runner but honestly, when you are tasked to play so high up the field, its not always easy to cover the spaces behind, so again something for the team to work on covering the spaces for each other. We had so many chances to score especially in corners, so many clear headers we got from corners and finally we do score one. Overall, glad to get the win and the performance to go with it, still tentative in defence at times, could have gone behind if Blind was clinical with his header across the goal but good win to take into the forced extended break. Hope we don’t lose the momentum.

Started very well, lost our way after they scored, but the result is huge… what an important goal.

Kostas and Matip excellent.

Our front line really need to stop being shit, getting rather annoying. When they pass it fast and accurately we get goals. Basic shit lads…

On another level and I remember well when people said he couldn’t tackle, immense player in every facet … maybe needs to score more

Much better. More control. We look 1000 times better with Thiago in midfield.

Telling that the few moments we switched off we conceded or nearly conceded (that Blind chance wooft). Suspect our right hand side behind Trent is going to continue to be the weak point that’s exploited, but I’m not sure that’s anything new.

The structure was better tonight. And I thought Salah was unlucky not to score a couple. He looked better, but Matip and Tsimikas were probably our best players.

Joël Matip really loved that goal

Surely they’ll rearrange something, no? We’ll be playing into August next year at this rate.

Much better and deserved win, 3 shots to 23 and we only win by a goal. Joel was just superb, Tsimikas was brilliant and Thiago excellent. Well done redmen. Onwards and upwards.:clap::clap::clap:

We needed that…boy did we need that. Jota had a good game considering how long he’s been out but man of the match has got to be big Joel. Mo did better too but he needs to be brought in from the cold. doesn’t suit him out there…
