Did it matter if it was decided the day he was born. He had a contract with the club he honoured that contract.

Booing someone who played an important part in probably our most successful era of modern PL makes a mockery of YNWA. Did TAA really deserved it more than say players who left in much worse circulation like Coutinho and Suarez and who achieved lesser than what TAA achieved here.
But fans can behave anyway they like but the boos did sting the players surely, not just TAA.
I do disagree that Slot should not have played TAA. He already said he is not going to tell how fans should react, he plays the players he feels is needed. As much as I abhor the booing, TAA should have expected some sections of fans might do that and he needs to suck it up as a professional player.

disappointed with the second half display and the draw. I felt Mo was trying too hard to get an assist, because there were a couple of chances for him to shoot. Surprised that arsenal had so much energy after their showing in the CL. Hopefully the lads get their heads down for the next two games and come out with max., points.

My issue is with us is we conceed far to easy. Little bit of pressure and we cant seem to get through it.
weve conceded 37 goals so far. Thats quite a lot for a team thats won the league.

You can really see a difference in peformances when going for the league to when its won,. Their is a natural fall off and that 10% really makes a difference.
I thought booing you own player was a disgrace. You could argue that Slot shouldnt have brought him on but yet again Bradley cant manage more than 70 mins and he was frustrated with himself because he knew he was burnt out. His fitness really needs to improve for next season, Its a big jump playing a few games to starting 50+.
Re Arsenal - i actually was really impressed with their 2nd half. Arteta is a bellend but with Zubamendi coming in which allows Rice to play further up field and if they get a top class no 9 then they will be a lot better next season. A forward will turn half of the their draws into wins.

Based on what? There were reports throughout the season that the club was hopeful of retaining him. The negotiations ended two weeks before he told them that he’s leaving. He never wavered on his position to speak publicly about his contract either.
So, why would he string everyone along, unless he’s a first rate cunt? Why is it difficult for people to accept that he wasn’t lying when he said that this was the hardest decision he has ever taken and as such it might have taken him a long time to reach it?

Just dont get the booing of a player who has won the lot who was coming onto the pitch to help a team that had totally been dominated in 2nd half.
In hindsight Slot probably wants to leave TAA out but he knows that Bradley hasnt got 90 in him.

No, there’s a perception that this has happened.
It’s utterly ridiculous that people are somehow taking it as gospel that he’s been running down his contract to move that on a free transfer, when the club itself hasn’t had much stability in the past two years, and that it could quite as well have been that he only made the decision at the very last moment.
