If we look away from the left arm of Odegaard, to look at his right arm, he was trying to hold MO off, but once he realised MO’s forward momentum was too strong to be stopped - Odegaard at that point realises Mo will be past him with the ball - hence the ‘scoop’ of the ball out of MO’s path

Absolutely, and that was my point. It has become a really bad rule that allows refs to make decisions few agree with while pointing to guidance to claim they got it right.

holy shit…i know you come into bat for the owners as a default setting…but no one, for quite a while, has bothered with this…the commitment to the owners from you has become almost scary
