They don’t sell to spend either like some clubs out there need to.

Just watched the game again. Thought Salah was crap 2nd half. The amount of possession in good positions he wasted was criminal.

Yes.
Arsenal and Man City all time combined European Cup final appearances is still one behind Nottingham Forest.

Damn.
Forgot those cunts actually managed to reach a final

Still didn’t win one.

Man City +Arsenal < Aston Villa

Man City and Arsenal combined have the same amount of European Cups as Accrington Stanley

Salah was poor I thought really should have had a hat trick. He is frustratingly inconsistent :exploding_head:

Yeah and the Gooners won’t be improving that record anytime soon.

Wonder if the shabby FA gonna take a look at the 4 Arsenal players who surround the ref after he awards the pen

I hope the fallout of this is that players get penalised for rushing up to refs and Lino’s, it should be down to captains only and in a respectful manner.

For me Robbo was out of order but the Lino’s reaction needs addressing as well.

managed to watch the game again, and just think that whatever Mo tried to do in the game (except the goal), didn’t come off. He had no luck . Have to admit, that during the game, I was kinda giving out about him playing so badly given the standards he has set. Hindsight and all that.

There are rules for dealing with dissent from players and they don’t include physical assault.

I would be very surprised if that lino a serious/severe punishment, because I am convinced that PGMOL have an agenda against us.
Our attitude towards officials is ‘saintly’ in comparison to other teams, who seem to get away with a lot of unsportsmanlike behaviour during games. But, maybe the real answer is brown envelopes ………… just look at FIFA and UEFA doing it in broad daylight and getting away with it.

I reckon the outcome will be:

4 match ban for Robbo.
Public apology from Liverpool.

Why didn’t VAR send Tierney to the monitor at half-time to review it

What the linesman did was indefensible. He will be quietly taken out of the firing line this season, but he will be back next year when everyone has forgotten about it.

What Liverpool should do is to write to PGMOL and make it clear that we believe Paul Tierney has a problem with Liverpool, pointing to specific instances over that last few years and request that he doesn’t officiate in matches involving us. Then leak to the press that we have done this. Make it untenable that he refs us in the future. Put him under scrutiny.

Of all the referees, he is the worst one. Robbo is right, he clearly doesn’t like us. Does anyone think for a second that we get that penalty if he hasn’t seen the video of his linesman lamping Robbo at half time?

But still no action against the Arse for crowding the ref…after elbowgate…oh no…they were just having a chat…

He didn’t rush up to him. He was walking towards the tunnel, the lino was walking towards the ref, their paths crossed. Robbo gave him an earful. Nothing unusual about that. I’m not convinced he even touched him. The lino’s reaction was one of the weirdest things I’ve seen on a football pitch. No way should he have come out for the second half. I can’t believe how the lines on who’s at fault here are getting blurred. It’s as clear as day what happened. The lino’s got a problem. He should not be officiating.
