Two goals down in 30 minutes. Feared the worst. Xhaka then woke Trent and the team up and from that moment, we were like our old selves again (bar the finishing).
On the balance, we should have won, which says something. That fire is back. Thiago coming on will help with the passing as well in future games.
As for Arsenal, they feigned injury each time we got a head of steam behind us to take the sting out the game.
As for the ref team, we’ll get done for not controlling our players. As for the linesman elbow, Andy will probably get charged for touching him.

I don’t. Fucking pricks. Would rather City win it. At least their titles are going have big fuck off asterixes next to them.

He didn’t touch him. That Lino should find that’s him done at this level.

Hendo was all at sea in the first 30 minutes until someone told him to occupy the opposing LB and allow Trent to bomb forward. And kudos to him, he did that well.

Wild take that you would rather cheaters win it than a club/team that have legitimatly done it. When we were cruising to it everyone was willing for us to do it over the oil cheats. Now the shoes on the other foot and you want the cheats to win
Bad take imo. Each to their own.

Ibou was excellent. With Trent being positioned mostly in midfield, he was tasked to cover Martinelli as well.
On another day, he would’ve bundled that ball over the line in injury time (6 minutes injury time, and Tierney blows right on six minutes despite the stoppages).

Want them to be at nr. 1 till the last day…and then lose it to whoever
That 2nd half was electric…the crowd really make us tick and we suffer without them when we play away.
Firmino Motm. Tremendous when he came on.
Some poor finishing at the end cost us the game.

Cannot understand how anybody can hold that view.
They’re cheats, pure and simple.

A game of tho halves, for both teams.
Arsenal got off to good start and we’re the far better team for 35 min. From the moment we got our first goal it felt as if they lost momentum. Having said that, they could have been two goals up going into the break and I don’t think we could have complained.
Second half we pinned them back. Should have evened the score when we got the penalty and probably won the game with Bobby’s goal.
Personally think we looked better with Curtis and Jota in the side. We kind of lost our shape when the got off. Trent great on the ball. I liked his new position in midfield when we were in possession

Glad to see us playing actual football again. Defensive lapses again costing us unfortunately, but it’s baby steps atm I suppose. I’d like to see that kind of fight in every game going forward.
Nine games left - all winnable. On paper, our team should be good enough to easily secure European football at the least, but who knows honestly.

Also wild that you think everyone else wanted Liverpool to win it.

Agreed.
Although I struggle to give a fuck who wins it if its not us.

it’s been awhile since we dominated a team like we did today

That linesman chose the smallest size shirt to show off his physique. Had that idiotic smirk on his face all game.

That Aaron Ramsdale seems a gentleman. Fair play to him today. He was excellent and had to be.

I don’t really care. It’s nothing to do with me, but it does boil my piss that we’ve had five years of genuine greatness, and we’ve one league title to show for it. Arsenal’s first decent (and that’s all they are) season and they have both us and City have blips. Lucky cunts. Let’s have another team be robbed of a title by these bastards. Maybe then the league will do something about it.

Not sure what happened after 30 minutes but we went from shambles to one of our better performances. We should have won that but I’m happy with the second half - aside from Mo’s penalty miss.
8 games left now hopefully we can build on this and see who we need in the summer.
Should really be Englands #1 and thats inspite of Pickfords showing yesterday.
