The bounce is unlucky but he could definitely have played it softer than he does but probably not by a huge amount. But equally Ekitike should still probably score it. And even if he does thereās a good chance Salah is offside anyway.

Best performance of the season tonight but fuck me, do we miss some chances. Game should have been out of sight by the time they scored their 1st and again before they equalised. We are so profligate in front of goal itās unreal, but itās nothing new tbh.
Gravenberch is just fucking ridiculous though, a Rolls Royce of a player who never looks tired. Szoboslai looks like the player we signed 2 years ago and Wirtz had his best game so far. Only Gakpo looked off it tonight.
Simeone is just a bad dickhead, hopefully that will be the last time we see him at Anfield but the way the CL is I doubt it.

That first āgoalā was blatantly offside. Clear interference with Aliās line of sight.
Second one was a deflection off a sub-par (thanks Ugochukwu you cunt) Macca who is clearly carrying a gimpy ankle. We should have had at least two or three more free kicks in very scoreable areas but the ref decided us getting our two goals was enough and shut up shop with the fouls.
