Weird game, in control but not in control, too open yet again on the break, needs sorting.

Voted for Szob, even after his fuck up, also went for the 2 subs who both assisted and scored, other mention would be Frimmy

Solid performance, but not as easy as we would have hoped for.

4 - 1 defenitely a very flatering scoreline and thought Barsnley put in a fantastic performance. Cleary looks a very talented player

4 lovely goals and a brain fart. Decent entertainment for a Monday night

Job done, into the 4th round.

Bring on Brighton. FA cup is coming home this year.

Looking at the 3rd need more of that, as the ball is played into Hugo, Wirtz is on the move, simple but pass and move works

Liked Wirtz when he came on.

Him and Hugo linking up well.

You can only win these games to be honest, it’s better than Plymouth anyhow.

Hope that young Rio is okay.

We played a fairly strong side as Slot wanted to make sure. All good. Hard to gauge much of anything as the performance was both mediocre, and at the same time plenty enough to win.

4-1, job done, some lovely goals and into the next round we go.

Yeah, I liked it. Slot got the mix right, between resting important players and keeping enough first-team players on the pitch. Four lovely goals.

The game could have been more comfortable without Szobo’s error, but Barnsley gave a good account of themselves. Mission accomplished tonight.

I am relieved we don’t have to blame @jabu

That was a fine effort from a team sitting 17th in League One. Wasn’t close at the end, but with 10 minutes to go there was still enough to worry about. I hope they can use the performance as a platform for a good run in their league - bizarrely they have as many as 5 games in hand on some of the sides above them.

I said this when Leoni did his ACL, and I will repeat. We need to look at the strip of artificial turf around the perimeter. Rio lost his footing on it and nearly did the splits, pulling his groin in the process.

If memory serves, Leoni got his studs caught in the seam and his knee went.

It needs looking at.

possibly the most boring 4-1 win ive ever seen…

so many negatives, im sure we’ll cover a few over the next few hours, biggest one for me is, again, purely just winning games because our player stock is better, no other reason.

this excuse of trying to figure out how to deal with a ‘low block’ is boring, until we polished this turd of a display with a bit of class at the very end, we struggled to beat a ‘low block’ put on by a team struggling in divvy one ( is it?)

bah…

Marma is too passive, imagine anyone doing that to Reina, let alone Schmiecal.
Cody Gakpo, its actually hard to watch, as he seems a decent guy, but my days that was something else
Sobozslai, as excellent as he is, the arrogance in that moment was astounding

im intrigued as to what the Burnley performance will look like…im not as mad as my post reads, its actually extremely interesting to see what we do from here on in…

but yeah, this issue with the ‘low block’ as if someones stumbled on a formula for football cryptonite and we are the only ones ever to have to face it…

we are just boring.

positives;

Wirtz and Ekitike padding the stats…those boys can play.

I was saying the same thing to my dad when Rio slipped.

Rio’s looked like a groin.

I actually don’t mind if we play like we did and then find the killer chances we did.

Dom played really well and saved a goal as well on that one they were moaning for a penalty. Wirtz should have also put a cross away from him.
