Post match: Liverpool v Bournemouth (EPL 15/8/25 8pm)

I’m still waiting on the slots and cherries joke. I’m sure it was quite mediocre, yet I remain intrigued.

The substitutions affected us adversely. Kerkez and Frimpong’s pace was a huge asset in keeping them quiet. Robbo was always looking for help against Semenyo and that mean someone in midfield was free as Gakpo almost dropped into defence to help out. That crazy sliding challenge aside, Milos was solid!

No it was not Virgil but mainly Konate his head was elsewhere and VVD was trying to cover for ibous mistakes but ended up making mistakes himself . We have to leave more than one player at the back while attacking because as soon as we lost the ball twice we shipped two goals.
When Gomez was put in as right back we stopped panicking at the back.

Was it just one person or several? I was shocked to hear Semenyo got racially abused it is most unusual to happen at Anfield but once is once too many.

Only one person, he got escorted out by the police.

Edit

Was it the linesman that heard what happened, what got said… Taylor seemed to catch on pretty quickly with what went down…Some people seem incapable of moving with the times, this gobshite is obviously one of them

Never understood it anyhow but look at our team ffs.

How can you even be like that one minute then cheer your own teams black players the next. I hope he never sees the inside of Anfield again.

Honestly, they are just human after all, don’t expect them to be like machines .

Look at Salah there at the end before you criticise any of these lads. What they have gone through cannot be put into words. This season more than ever, they need our support.

I am unreasonably bought in for someone who’s delivered so little. I still believe there are big things left for him to achieve here

For goal contributions. He’s got the goals scored too, but that stopped getting upgraded last year, when he didn’t score (got an assist though, so goal contributions continue).
