Great comeback after the last game against that lot up the road.
Now we need to keep going, sure we will!
Good to see Bobby back among the goals.
RIP little Olivia!
What a magic day, battered Bournemouth, thrashed SA and had more than a few cheeky drinks enjoying both. Salah
@Colossal_centre_back whereās the pre-match thread?
What a result ! Too early in the morning for me, so had to watch a replay. Never expected a scoreline like that.
Great to see the young fellas make their debuts, and Harvey and Fabio score a goal.
Great for the goal difference as well ! Season starts now!
When Bobby smiles,
Liverpool FC smile!
Best assist for me was Tsimi for Carvalho, what a lovely touch to cushion Trentās cross and set up the volley!
Now that the match is over and it was indeed a great win and a great performance but it will only be a statement if we can kick off from here, so the next 2 matches against the new rich wannabe and the useless neighbour would be the best way to cement that we ARE really back.
Finally watched the match in full, the finishing was absolutely sublime and who knew Diaz was a heading machine.
Loved the Carvalho goal for its several different factors and the Elliott one was something he tried twice on Monday night and was narrowly wide twice.
Trentās was a thunderbolt and yeah 9 goals and youād probably blame the keeper on one maybe the second Diaz header other than that he isnāt stopping about 6 of them.
I do wonder about pre season, evidently the spells against Palace and Fulham showed so much more and we were far more in the Man Utd game after about 30 mins.
I do wonder if weāve been gradually building our levels up to this. I guess we will see midweek
That was better, only 9 goals needed another 24 to make it look convincing. That will do good reaction from the players, a bit of aggression goes a long way.
My stream was rubbish so I at least something to grumble about.
James Milner and Lee Clark came on as subs for Newcastle in a 2-0 PL defeat at Bolton on 24th August 2005.
Yesterday, just three days over 17 years later, James Milner and Bobby Clark (Leeās son) came on as subs for Liverpool in a 9-0 PL win against Bournemouth.
Even more intriguingly, one of their NUFC team-mates in that defeat at Bolton was involved at Anfield yesterday - Bournemouth manager Scott Parker!
Great finishing apart from Mo who should have scored at least two, nice to see Jurgen almost apologie to Parker for the trashing.
ā¦ and Millie will still be coming on as sub when Bobby Clarkes son makes his debut.
Salah was rubbish!
And we didnāt break the Premier League record for the biggest win; we could easily have scored eleven or twelve goals.
Iād like to think weāre saving that one for March, and the visit of Man U.
If Salah could score we would have hammered them 20-0 and Iād be almost happy!
Nah, thatāll break the pattern. @Draexnael needs to open the match thread, I just have to continue posting nonsense here
Salah is saving himself for Wednesday.
@Quicksand cut up a bit rough about not pushing on after the 9th, there was still 7 minutes to go FFSā¦goal difference and all thatā¦
Well spotted. It was a sublime piece of skill.
