A better manager would’ve avoided playing Liverpool, City and Arsenal in the first four games of the season.

A better manager wouldn’t have seen them go off a cliff at points last season. He looked utter clueless then.

They are lucky to be in the PL as I’ve pointed out elsewhere without such a start they wouldn’t and then 9 new players since January thrown in with some loans (If he wanted Cantwell on a full time basis then I’m surprised as he was often off from the bench). Maybe Phillips but who knows what’s going on there.
