I bet this will be quieter than Toulouse and Luton.

Anyhow a professional performance in which we deserved more than the 3, though I’m not complaining.

Brentford were well beaten, Attwell can fuck off though.

Big Virg MOTM for me.

Just looks back to his cool best

Ah, the “I’m on a race all on my own, look ma, I came first!!!”

Imperious at home. Built different. Really think we can win all 19 games.

Virgil Nunez & Ali exceptional although Nunez faded 2nd half. Mo taking both his goals well, should’ve had a hattrick.

Brentford are boring plodders, play one of the worst football in the league given the players they have.

So, are Endo and Tsimikas still shit. It’s so confusing this Liverpool stuff.

Glad to see the performance from Tsimikas to be fair hope this pushes the lad on.

Job well done for the boys after the defeat in France.

Tsimikas has gotten that rocket up his arse and upped his game immensely with two assists. The bold decision to go 4231 is ultimately proven correct.

Endo needs to be careful in his touches, it was a tad too loose today that led him to go sliding in a few times.

The front three has goal contributions today which is nice to see. Nunez looks sharp with Salah being good as well.

Now, what does LFC do for the Man City match?Keep the 4231 or revert back to the 433?

Van Dijk, Salah and Nunez were imperious. Much better from Tsimikas. Jota scores again.

Struggle to believe how unambitious Brentford were. Brutal football.

Easy and much deserved win.

A few quick thoughts:

Virgil is truly back to his best
Really happy for Endo, showing that he belongs on the biggest stage
Mo will always be Mo

A title challenge coming up, now just need the Mancs to choke. YNWA!

Big win just before the international break. Good to see Endo and Tsimikas turned it around from Toulouse game. Salah, VVD motm for me.
Hopefully we come back from the break injuries free.

I thought the whole team played well. Energy and purposeful ball movement. Endo was all over giving protection and playing forward passes in the attacking third. Darwin was unfortunate to be barely offside for both his efforts and Mo was Mo, providing the clinical touches needed to calm us down. And Virgil was back to his best, marshalling his defence with authority.
Now for City!

consistency is lacking with both but today they were very good
