As a goalie I absolutely loved that leg save by Alisson.
Nice goal by two players who are likely off (well one is) wish the problem was the one going.
Bright spark going forward is Rio, less said about Maca the better.

What a disgrace! Couldn’t even win to send Salah and Robbo off. The only two people that had a goal contribution today are the ones who wants to get out from this club that still believes that Arne Slot can turn this around with his magic set-piece coach Etienne Reijnen. ER is not gonna improve the turgid open play or the defensive fragility.

As for the game, more of the same staid style. Nevertheless, we had some shots from distance. No got close with the free kick in the first half.
A nice assist from Mo you take the lead. Then Slot here happy with the game situation and let’s the game drift. We inevitably concede, and only then Slot decide to make changes.
Frimpong for Mo was a waste of a sub. Frimpong here to spend time in the training pitch to improve his defending. Playing wide forward should be a last resort.
A whole season played, with new signings, and yet nothing discernable on the pitch in terms of playing setup and style to show for it.
Should have been a slow transfusion from me signings to get embedded into the team. Instead we got all the shiny new toys playing from the first game, and playing a style of setup that the old guard and the new players were not suited to (think back to those first few games, when Kerkez and Frimpong were instructed to keep coming inside, leaving Gakpo and Mo isolated out wide trying to be touchline wingers).
Wirtz should’ve started the season wide left, and then transitioned into the number 10. Instead, we got the opposite. Trying to shoehorn him into the advanced midfield position.
Yes, we had injuries and recruited top heavy. But the lack of everything in our play was painful to watch.

I’m just hoping that there is a major change in our coaching set up. We have some very good players who seem to have the preparation of a Sunday league side.
