End of an era. Another pretty lifeless performance. It’s Mo and Andy’s day, but all I’ll say other than that is Slot clearly can’t motivate this set of players anymore. Either he goes, there’s an exodus or both.

Hope against hope that Alisson stays, though it seems about 70-30 that he’s leaving.
That save in the first half was a real key in the game.
Konate’s probably 50-50.
Really don’t want another huge turnover this summer.
Need a speedy R winger, a true #6, and overall more athleticism and passing nous.
Wouldn’t mind 1-2 veteran rather than young players, there are going to be big gaps in the locker room culture and mentality to fill.

Can I just say…Thanks to everyone here on this forum for sticking through this team in this difficult,tragic and tough season. 
Lots of debates,discussions and arguments
…at the end , we are all in this for one thing and that is to witness Liverpool football club in its full glory.
It looks extremely difficult how things will change next season with Slot at the helm, because we have absolutely no momentum whatsoever to carry in to next season.
Some kind of huge lift is needed…shot in the arm. Either big signings…,new coach or if Slot stays I want Stevie as assistant…get him in…let these softies fight for this shirt every minute they step on to that pitch.
Let’s hope we don’t turn into Man utd…and we can fix things over summer, because those twats at Arsenal will have a free run again next season as everyone else will be going through transition.

Nah, we controlled the vast majority of the game up until they went all out. It feels lucky because that chance was at the very death but we could have put the game to bed with that Wirtz chance a couple minutes earlier. Even their goal was a deflected shot that landed straight on their lads head.

Yeah, was watching Konate’s expression when he subbed off, and there just wasn’t much to read.
Remember what a tough year he’s had- death of his father, and the “too often at the scene of the crime” comment. He does seem to be a big voice and character, and I for one hope he stays.

The substitution felt telling. Either a goodbye for Konate, a goodbye for Gomez or a goodbye for both.
Unless he was suffering from the head knock why else would you take him off on 89 minutes.

We’ve had MANY games at Anfield that we’ve liked like we “controlled” it but ended up drawing or losing.
This sort of control doesn’t mean shit when it comes to getting a result. This is nothing like Rafa’s control where you felt secure.
