We are so shit that i want to flag this thread as offensive and inappropriate.
Another avergae performance. Too many silly mistakes.
Bobby had a good game. Tsimikas going off made us worse.
Shambolic all round. No control, no tempo, defensively poor throughout. The club had some time in between games and to perform like that leaves a lot to be desired. Two more dropped points. This can’t continue. Atrocious start to the season.
We scored three goals. No-one should be complaining about the attack, and it’s not their fault our defence is playing wank.
It’s just too fucking easy to get behind us at the minute. We’re slow to the ball and timid in the challenge.
2 meters behind play when defending in the 1st half, just not right!

Just not good enough defensively all round. Press is rubbish, tracking is rubbish, tackling is none existant and we have 3 statues at the back.
The next few fixtures are looking scarier and scarier.
We’ll probably go and beat Arsenal and City.
Basically all of our players are playing poor atm. Ali, Bobby and Diaz only people playing normally. Mo has been meh. Backline all been poor, Matip just back from injury. Midfield depressing. Even Thiago hasn’t been himself I think? Is the Klopp thing of burning out his teams true? Maybe. Just think we need investment. The Nunez signing looks stranger everyday. Feel like we could have signed a brilliant midfielder for that. I’d go after few of those Brighton players by the looks of it.
The Brighton equalizer was coming. That it came with it going through VVD, then Trossard hitting it perfectly straight into the ground to create an upward trajectory with Ali only able to get his stretching finger tips to it just sums it up.
With Andy close to a return, didn’t understand subbing Tsimi. The only positive was that from two down, we got back in the game.
But game management is seriously lacking.
Could have lost this 6-3 easily if it wasn’t for Becker.
Midfield exposed as slow and not capable many times, exposing our defensive frailties again.
Pulled it back somehow, but we always looked slow and Brighton were much more on their game than us.

They do nothing defensively, particularly Salah who is also responsable for most of our attacks breaking down.
Defense isn’t right all over the pitch and that starts where we lose the ball.
The defense was really rotten.
I really could cry…I know it sounds over the top…but it’s how I feel…so so so disappointed…

A chastening start for Carvalho left wide forward. He’ll learn from it though. Needed to better press his side.
When he came deeper to midfield to help, there was an occasion when he did well, won the ball, passed it back to Matip, but then he took his eye off the ball. Matip returned it to him, but he was out of the picture with Brighton ready to spring an attack on goal.
Those things need to be ironed out.
