Post Match: Liverpool v Brighton (EPL 1/10/22 3pm)

Haven’t seen it. probably dont want to having read some comments above.

I can still laugh at it though. Not much else left.

I honestly think the issue is mental and it’s caused by City. You play out of your skin year after year and they still win. They have depth. They sign more players. Mentally it’s impossible to not feel you cannot win it - like whatever you do it will not be good enough.

I think we are in that place. Shame on the PL for letting them get away with financial doping. Others are not hit as hard a they aspire to top 4.

I can well believe that. When you should be winning titles but aren’t because of a cheat its bound to play on you mentally.

I’m sure those guys that rode against Lance Armstrong, or sprinting vs Ben Johnson etc. really felt they won those races.

We literally won the league a few years ago, this weird slant like any of our current problems are based on other factors is just clutching.

It’s all on us, top to bottom we aren’t doing enough.

Trent has taken pelters all season, and he’s out of form for sure, but Virg is our biggest problem currently

by size, yes. But pound for pound we have quite a few contenders.

Just by the fact that he was so imperious, and we relied on his consistency and leadership. He’ll be back

Wind up the away fans by time wasting on a throw.

Without doubt. It’s always easier being the team out front that the ones chasing. City have burned us out……and then they sign haaland.

We lose mane and sign a forward who at the moment don’t fit our style of play and are still playing 312 year old James Milner.

Henderson for Elliott because he is poor defensively … Henderson was poor all around …

Bobby, Becker and Diaz for the MotM slots. Incredibly rusty to start with and sloppy to end. In the middle I could see a half competent side but the enforced breaks have cost us. I have the feeling we will look much better by the end of this season but there is a lot of transition to go through first.

Anyway, Rangers and Scottish Rules Football first. You have been warned!

We almost got away with a weak lineup, let’s hope for the best.

Weak line up?

Alisson, Trent, Matip, Van Dijk, Kostas, Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago, Salah and Firmino is weak? It’s meant to be our fucking strongest one bar Robbo for Kostas and Diaz for Carvalho.

The excuses being made for capitulating at home is sad.

Yes weak but I’m not surpriced that you don’t see the weakness in that lineup.

Hendo hasn’t offered anything all season.

Probably Melo time.

It’s not a weak line up. 2nd best in league by far as proven for 4-5 seasons. There’s a deep malaise that I don’t quite understand

Trent wanted to prove a point today. Klopp should have protected him bring on Milner for him and not for Kostas.

Harvey still not a midfielder for me. Should have come on for Salah - no problem with that.
