Salah turning back time was a most welcome surprise.
Kerkez was great too, although no one was below par.
The second goal is also worth a mention. 2 perfect passes and a first time belter by Szoboszlai.

Strange first half if I remember correctly, neither team had any rhythm as the ref blew his whistle at every little fouls.
Those 2 open play goals were things of beauty. Kerkez to Jones, Gakpo to Salah to Szoboszlai. Wow!
Oh, how about Wirtz literally danced inside the box between 3 seagulls, that was quite something to witness…too bad it did not end up with a goal.
Jones need to get longer studs…fell several times with sudden change of directions. I was surprised he didn’t change them during the half time break after the big slip in the first half.
I wish that the youngsters came on earlier. Oh well.

Another satisfying win. I was very impressed with Kerkez, he hardly put a foot wrong. He has improved alot and he is still only 22 years old. We haven’t seen him at his peak yet. I am looking forward to seeing it soon.
Mo was better, getting back to his sparkly old self and Dominic, wow ! What a colossal midfielder we have. He has got us out of so many tricky situations and got us back into the game. We are lucky to have him.
We need to win at least 1 silverware this season to make up for our diabolical defence of the title.
F.A Cup is still huge for us.
We still have a long way to go though. When we see stiffer opposition, we will see if Arne can get us through it.
Overall, I am happy as golden retriever wagging its tail. We can’t complain about this result.

Having witness Gakpo not really in sync with Kerkez, Kerkez must have done something wrong against Gakpo in his past life 
…Not only Kerkez does not often receive passes from Gakpo, Gapko even blocked his shot at the Brighton’s goal with a poor attempt of getting out of the way. (I do not think Kerkez was offside but the assistant ref raised the flag anyways, so it does not really matter.)
