Perhaps they were just waiting for a chance to show us how VAR is good for the game. You know, goals that were onside not given. Goals that were offside given. Penalties that weren’t given.
We won’t be moaning as much when they take ages to get every decision right.

To be fair, a lot of the moaning isn’t about the technology. It’s the fact that even with the technology, these bellends still can’t get it right.

or does it just emphasise that VAR is lowering standards of referees…there virtually being dumbed down.
personally, even though the decisions were incorrect, the whole lack of the circus surrounding anygoal/tackle/offside was refreshing…
